With the ever increasing traffic outside school, our school council felt the need to make sure everyone was safe. 4 Year 6's asked for a meeting with Mrs Matthews and Mrs Ross. In this meeting it was clear that the students at TSM want to make a difference and ensure the safety of all. Through discussion and research, a decision was made to set up our own Junior Road Safety Team. An application had to be made to Suffolk RoadSafe and training had to be completed, but we now have 4 qualified JRSO.s (Junior Road Safety Officers). Their first action was to set our road safety poster competition. Meet our Junior Road Safety Officers Our JRSO's with be training other children to keep safe on the roads and much more!Spring Events

On sale lunchtime Thursday 19th December.... A final recital before the performance at the Key Stage 2 carol concert on Tuesday 17th December.... looking forward to another chance to hear all the fantastic poems. Well done everyone!
Another fantastic and yummy Christmas dinner! Thank you to Mrs Rogowski and Mrs Baker in the kitchen and all the staff who helped set up, serve and tidy away. On 14th November we were invited to take part in the ‘Twelve Days Of Christmas’ feature on the breakfast show on Radio Ipswich 102.
On the 12 working days leading up to Christmas, a local primary school (including us) will feature on air singing a line from The Twelve Days Of Christmas, building up each day to the final verse. To hear the whole school on the radio, tune on in! The feature will be on working days, starting on 9th December, with the final school (12th day) being Christmas Eve. This will be aired on the breakfast show with Dom at some point between 7am and 9am. We sang the verses two to four, so keep an ear out!!! If parents/children miss our day, they will have the opportunity to listen back online afterwards at www.ipswich102radio.com. |
