Wednesday 6.30pm Friday 6pm Saturday 2pm Tickets from the office will be issued upon payment. Congratulations to Kingsfleet for winning this years Paarlauf competition. A super effort from all runners, from all schools, with only 18 runs separating 1st and 7th place and only 1 point between 1st and 2nd! Thank you to Mr Ashton from Langer for organising the competition and Mrs Turner & Mrs Henson for sorting the children for each race. Check out our Paarlauf blog on our "Your School Games" Website
Since joining the school in September 1997, I have known the school to seek ways to make the road outside a safer place for our children. I can remember a possibility of a car park on some farm land (that fell through), traffic signs go up (20 MPH), widening of some paths along the route and an increase of patrols from the local police. Since September 2016, I have sent out letters & flyers, set up a report system online to gather evidence and made reference on the blog for drivers to THINK CHILDREN. However this week "a near miss"!
I recently came across a Suffolk County Council website for applying for new traffic calming measures. I have already completed my report. Click on the clink below and in the first drop down menu, click "roads" and in the second, click "traffic calming" and then add your comments..... |
