Mr & Mrs Stockdale would like to announce the very happy arrival of baby Louie.
Mum and baby are doing well. Congratulations Mrs Stockdale! One of the best parts of being Acting Headteacher is getting to see what amazing things the children are getting up to. I have heard some breath taking poems, found out how to partition numbers in their thousands and even millions, taste yummy cooking and watch teachers and support staff work extremely hard every minute of the school day to ensure that every child is working and learning to their full potential. This week I had two somewhat strange visitors- Check them out on the Year 5 Sheeran blog.....
With new children attending after-school clubs, we have had a little confusion as to where pick-up points are. This map should help both parents/cares and teachers make sure children are collected safely. ![]()
Thank you to parents who are now letting the children take themselves into school. The gates are open from 8.45am and the member of staff on gate duty will take any messages or arrange a time to see your child's teacher. Children enter the school independently and set themselves straight to work with exciting morning challenges. We know this system has worked really well with reducing traffic outside the school and has increased the children's independent skills.
Thank You again (Reception children are still settling in and therefore the expectation is that they gradually build up their confidence and in time will also come in independently) Mrs Ross has set up a blog on the "Schools Games" website- https://www.yourschoolgames.com/ (linked above) Each time the school takes part in any intra or inter school competitions the information and photos will be published on the chool website and on our very own "School Games" page. (linked below) Staying up to date with "School Games"...

Monday to Friday 7.45am- 8.45am Term Time Only For further information contact Sara Picken on 07763816224 ![]() It is very important that the staff at both the breakfast club and after school club know exactly who is attending their club each day. We ask that if any child is not attending on a registered or prearranged day that parents/carers let the club know as soon as possible. We ask the same if parents/carers need to make arrangements for their child to stay last minute. Everyone has emergencies or can run late, but it is essential that the staff at TSM breakfast/after-school club know who will be attending their club. Please contact staff on 07763816224 . A very busy car park! A busy car park can be a dangerous place for any child. After two reported incidents in the staff car park this morning,( A NEAR MISS and DAMAGE TO OUR EMERGENCY GATE), I have had to make the decision that the car park is for staff members and expected visitors only. Children being dropped off or collected from clubs before and after school will need to park outside the school and walk supervised through the car park to their destination. This decision has been made purely to safeguard every child in this school.
Thank you for your support and understanding. In Fridays assembly Mrs Ross, even with technical issues set the school challenge number 2! Mrs Ross is challenging ALL of TSM to the Heinz Beanz Cansong. Children, staff and all those at home too! At school there will be a Cansong club to practise the song and learn the skills before recorded heats and then a live final later in the term. The competition is open to everyone! Parents, carers, friends, granddads, grandmas, aunties and uncles too! The lyrics to the song are: ‘Come warm your bones, make yourself at home. Darling, smile. We are right as rain. Oh, we all need love, that simple love. And we are whole again.’ ‘In the still of night, by the desktop light. We can dream. A dream that never ends. Oh we all need love, that sweet-sweet love. That makes us whole again.’ ‘Yes I need you, darling, come what may. You’re the strength that gets me through the day. Meet me at the old cafe. I’m on my way. Oh, we’re whole again! We’re whole again! Yes we are whole again.’ For a chance to win a prize and help raise money for a good cause head to www.heinz.co.uk Those of you at home who wish to send in your recorded cansong attempts ready for the heats and a chance to win a school prize, get practising and send your videos attached to the email below. Good luck!!
