We had a great (but cold) morning in the Wild Wood. We completed Autumn hunt checklists, made dens, found one less than numbers and created nature collages! This year we've started a new project where Reception have a Year 6 buddy! Our first activity was a shared lunch with our buddies. Both Year 6 and Reception seemed to really enjoy themselves. I was so proud of both classes.
We made rocket sandwiches with Alex and Mrs White. We had to use lots of different cooking skills including cutting, spreading and threading. Thank you for your help lovely ladies! 😁
Thank you to Florie's dad and Barretts for the kind donation of amazing building materials to enhance our builders area.
Regan and Alice (from Year 6) came to help us make some paper cup Jellyfish. We had so much fun working with the older children!
We had a very busy Thursday afternoon! Alex, Lauren and Kayleigh helped us to make fruit kebabs. Then Emily, Erin and Lara from Year 6 made 'Angel Cookies' with us. We had to use lots of different skills to make both snacks.
Thank you to all the parents who helped us with our maths afternoon. We hoped you enjoyed seeing how Maths can occur in so much of our play! 😊
Thank you George, Cabhan and Carter for organising and running an amazing sports activity this afternoon. The children had so much fun and loved interacting with the older children. They especially loved their prizes- chocolate! 😁
