Thank you to Mrs White and Mrs Ward for helping us today!
We had so much fun making our courgette and cheese muffins. We used lots of gross motor skills to make the muffins and discussed why it is important to eat vegetables to get lots of vitamins and keep our bodies healthy. Thank you to Mrs White and Mrs Ward for helping us today!

Dear parents/guardians,
Please make sure you have logged into your tapestry account, using the email address you gave to me in September, to view your child's online learning journey. At parents evening, after half term, you will be able to see a copy of your child's learning journey folder, handwriting work and English and Maths books. The observations in the learning journey folder and tapestry are different. We use both tools to allow us to show case your child's learning in a variety of ways. If you are having difficulty accessing your tapestry account please let me know and I can resend the link or work with you to sort any issues. Kind regards, Miss Thurlow We had a wonderful afternoon. Thank you to Grace and Isobel from Year 6 for coming to make forkies with us. Thank you to Mrs White, Alex and Lucy for helping us to make numicon biscuits.
We had a great time making mini me pizzas. We had to use lots of cooking skills: cutting, spreading, sprinkling.
Thank you to Alex and Mrs White for helping us! We've been very busy the first three days into the term! The children have settled well to school life and are adjusting well to the new routines. They've been enjoying our new mud kitchen, which was made by Miss Thurlow's dad and the new water wall and toy cars which were made by Mrs Matthews' husband.
I look forward to our first full week together where the children will have their first PE lessons (Monday AM and Wednesday AM) and our first morning in TSM Wild Wood on Tuesday. I hope to see lots of parents at our meet the teacher presentation after school on Monday. Kind regards, Miss Thurlow We all had a fantastic Disney party yesterday! We managed to snap a picture of us all before many of us de-disney-ed! Who's idea was it to organise a dressing up day in these temperatures?!
We had a day full of fun, games, excitement and food! Thank you for your very kind donations and apologies for the very hyper children you received back! It was so lovely to see so many proud faces at our graduation ceremony on Friday. We hope you enjoyed the morning just as much as the children and ourselves did.
Like I said, we love the graduation ceremony as we are so proud of each and every one of the children, the progress they have each made and just how far they have all come....however it also marks the end of their time with us in Reception and it can be quite tough to 'let them go'!. All the staff in reception would like to thank-you all for your very kind, thoughtful and generous gifts you bought each of us! You didn't need to do that...but we are all very appreciative. Mrs Rushbrooke and I would also like to say an extra special Thank-you for our vouchers for Afternoon Tea at Milsoms. We may save that for after the craziness of someones wedding?!!!!. Many thanks again for your generosity! |
